The necklace is made using old Heaven signs and Jumis signs motives from J.Sudmalis’ notes (1923). In the ornaments is depicted time, when the Sun is in the highest point of Heaven mountain and God’s son Jānis gives all his fertility power to earth, to create Jumis. That is a period after summer solstice, when one corn is still on the field, but other corn is under shelter .
The guardian of field and home wealth. Jumis –is fertility and all kind of contribution in field and in family –new generation is created in Jumis.
Shelter - heavenly benevolence, protection and security.
